Elizabeth Gillies (born Elizabeth Gillis) is a famous American singer, actress and song writer. Most famously, she is known for playing Lucy in the musical 13 as well as Jade West, in Nickelodeon's Victorious. Her professional journey began as a commercial actress. The Black Donnellys (2007) was her first appearance on television. From 2010-13 she played Jade West in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious. She played a leading role in FX's comedy Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. Elizabeth Egan Gillies' family resides in Haworth, New Jersey where Gillies was raised. She received recognition by her performance as a lead character in the science-fiction action film Super 8, which won her the Spotlight Award in the Hollywood thriller festival. Following her portrayal of the character on We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she also played Princess Aurora as in Maleficent as well as Maleficent The Mistress of Evil.
