Following his appearance in a variety of films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, Evans became famous for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for his portrayal of Steve Rogers / Captain America in various Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as well as Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). He was one of the most highly paid actors on the planet because of his work for the Marvel franchise.
