Rosalia

Rosalia Vila Also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish singer of flamenco. Since she was a teenager, she has been at the edges of popular and traditional music. She also plays with genres like hip-hop trap and soul. Pepe Habichuela has described her voice as smooth, elegant and sharp while also possessing a bit of bite. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim after her first album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami the third album by her, featured songwriting collaborations between Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in March 2022 following a performance of the single Chicken Teriyaki on Saturday Night Live. Rosalia became the first Spanish artist to sing solo on the show. Motomami was the only female in the history of music to be a recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times, in addition to the three Latin Grammy Awards.
