Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico with a family that was passionate about music. When she was a kid, she listened to many classical music and older Boleros. She also listened to traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos and opera, as well as the dramatic shows that she attends. At the age 16, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense vocal instruction. The musical training continued with the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. She sang in Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a scholar and professional. When she moved to the United States, she performed as a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002 she relocated to Southern California. She's a regular solo performer for private events and parties and performs traditional Latin American Music. Passion and enthusiasm for music, art, and performing keeps her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana has also been an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as and the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
